COL (Ret.) John Agoglia Team Lead, NSPAF, Center for Applied Strategic Learning John has 35 years of experience in operations management, war gaming, strategic planning, and multinational negotiations aimed at developing and implementing strategic policies to influence bilateral, multilateral and intra-governmental civilian-military processes and relationships in the Asian-Pacific, Middle Eastern and European regions.
COL (Ret.) Devon Blake is the Sr Director of Global Security for Premise Data, an innovative data science IT company. Prior to 2019, Devon served on active duty within the US Army for 24 years, commanding brigade, battalion, company, and platoon levels, and advising senior leaders and policy makers. Having lived, deployed, and traveled extensively, Devon values people and enduring relationships. She serves on multiple non-profit boards, has been married 24 years and is the proud mother of four.
Sarah Cady, LICSW, is excited to join the Advisory Board of Pillars 4 Humanity. She brings over 20 years’ experience working with foreign-born populations in the education, health, and refugee resettlement arenas. She has been a refugee case manager, job developer, and director of programs at both the national and local levels. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at REACT DC. Prior to joining REACT DC, she served as the Executive Director of the Refugee and Immigrant Services
Zarmina Hamidi arrived as a refugee in Northern Virginia, in 1988. While earning a BA in Graphic Design, and afterwards, she volunteered with many Muslim, Afghan, and interfaith organizations. Zarmina now works as Constituent Engagement Specialist at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, where she started as Case Manager after the Afghan evacuation in August 2021. Zarmina also is an actress debuting in the sitcom, United States of Al, where she plays an Afghan mother to an immigrant child.
Khalis Noori is a dedicated professional with a strong focus on resettlement work and community empowerment. As Director for Field Operations at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service he led the development of program strategies, expanded services, and ensured high-quality support for 1400 newly arrived Afghan clients in DMV area. Khalis excelled in team supervision, budget management, fundraising, and maintaining vital stakeholder relationships. His passion for advocacy and ongoing communicat
Olga has worked twenty years with non-profits that wish to elevate every human to self-sufficient productivity through education, social justice, poverty reduction, and international peacemaking. Olga holds a B.A. and M.A. in English and Italian language and literature from University Complutense in Madrid, Spain and an M.A. in international affairs from University of Strasbourg, France. She is fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian and her native Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian.
