While collaborating with other organizations such as Muslim- Americans, Afghan-Americans, Veterans, Churches, inter-faith, and other Non-Profits, we have established MAV and P4H as the organization at the forefront of humanitarian work in Virginia.  We have found our standing as a Muslim community representative with Federal Government, State, and local governments.  We have worked with Governor Markell, a White House appointee for the refugee crisis by the Biden Administration, and Governor Northam/Younkin's office to help with policy and laws affecting refugees.  We have been working diligently with Islamic Relief USA, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the State Department (PRM), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), The Office of New American (office of State of Virginia), Local governments Fairfax County, Prince Williams County, Alexandria City, Loudoun County, Lutheran Social Services National (LSSNCA), Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC), and Lutheran Immigration and Refugees Services (LIRS).
